Tamara previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer for AssetMark, Inc. and SmartBiz Loans, helping the former take its asset management platform public on the New York Stock Exchange. She also served as a senior executive across business development, client experience and marketing for Charles Schwab & Co, Inc’s investor retail and investment management divisions.

Tamara draws on her mid-market to Fortune 50 leadership to help VC- and PE-backed companies in growth mode and transition including start-up, turnaround, acquisition, pre- and post-IPO. Tamara’s B2B, B2C, and B2B2C marketing and product experience has helped drive billions in aggregate revenue and accumulated assets under management for companies at the intersection of technology, financial services, and consumer products. Her unique approach integrates instinct and experience with data-enabled decision making to drive positive results.
Tamara holds two degrees from Northwestern University, including an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor of arts in sociology. She attributes her career-long team leadership approach to her time as a dual-sport athlete at Northwestern, where she played lacrosse and earned All-American honors in field hockey.

Today, Tamara serves as an Independent Board Director for Axos Financial, a publicly-traded fintech company. In addition, she holds non-executive board positions with Lamorinda Lacrosse Club and the Tenacity Project. She is also owner operator of IMAGE Studios, a salon suite franchise, in San Ramon, California.
