The CMO Syndicate is delighted to announce the addition of Ellen Howse to our team of fractional CMOs. Most recently, she served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Dewey's Bakery, a private equity-backed clean cookie company based in North Carolina. Ellen brings extensive experience as both a corporate marketing executive and a fractional CMO and innovation leader for both Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. She drives growth through insights-driven brand strategy and positioning, building and developing the marketing organization, and creating an enduring product innovation pipeline.

As a fractional marketing executive, Ellen has partnered with CEOs and CMOs at industry-leading companies such as pladis Global Godiva ChocolatierHello Products LLC and Nestlé Health Science, and PE-funded start-ups. Before that, Ellen spent over six years at Cadbury Beverages (now Keurig Dr Pepper Inc.) in senior-level brand and customer marketing roles before assuming leadership positions at Nabisco Mondelēz International in both marketing and corporate strategy.

Ellen’s key areas of focus are Food & Beverage and Health & Wellness, with a special interest in the unique intersections between the two. Additionally, she possesses broad experience across various other B2C sectors, including personal care, retail, and luxury goods. She has a passion for turning ideas into action by leading and galvanizing cross-functional teams.

As a CMO Associate of The CMO Syndicate, Ellen will focus on expanding the company’s CPG practice through fractional CMO support, strategic exploration of new growth sectors, and the development of high-value, actionable innovation roadmaps for clients.
